Hatter facing a mountain of break-and-enter charges in Alberta and Saskatchewan

The RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, assisted by RCMP Regina General Investigation Section, arrested Medicine Hatter Joshua Elliot Moose for a series of break and enters.

Between June and October, 12 Tim Hortons locations in Alberta and five in Saskatchewan reported a break and enter. Moose was arrested outside a hotel in White City, Sask., and a search warrant was conducted on his hotel room, vehicle, and apartment in Medicine Hat.

This investigation resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash, tools and firearms.

Moose has been charged with seven offences in Saskatchewan for break and enter to commit theft and possession of break-in tools, and 31 charges were laid in Alberta for break and enter to commit theft, possession of break-in tools and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Moose was remanded to appear in Saskatchewan Court of Justice in Regina on Nov. 6.
