The eighth annual HALO Air Ambulance ‘In Flight For Your Life’ fundraiser dinner and auction on Saturday at the Seven Person Community Hall was a success, with more than 200 attending the event that helps keep HALO in air.
The annual dinner is one of HALO’s premier fundraising events last year raising more than $86,000.
Live and silent auctions included more than 100 items donated from businesses in the area, and were catered by Premium Sausage. Auctioneer James Maclean was on hand to bid from those in attendance.
“Fundraisers like our annual dinner and auction are absolutely essential to HALO’s mission,” said CEO Paul Carolan. “The support from our community means we can continue delivering critical medical support to individuals across southern Alberta. We’re humbled and grateful for everyone who came out to support HALO.”
Although HALO is still finalizing the total amount raised from this year’s dinner and auction, staff say they are already looking forward to next year’s event in Seven Persons scheduled for Nov. 1, 2025.
