Bridge burned at Bindloss, RCMP believe caused by burnouts

The Oyen RCMP is investigating after a bridge near Bindloss caught fire two weeks ago.

Mounties believe vehicles doing burnouts ignited a fire that caused structural damage to a bridge near the northwest quarter-section of 25-22-3 W4 between 7 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 28, and 6 a.m. the next morning.

Lost hunter found

Brooks RCMP is crediting the Jenner Fire Department with locating a hunter who was reported missing on Oct. 12. The detachment provided no other details of the incident. General hunting safety guides suggest being prepared for changes in weather, hunting with partners and letting others know your plans and potential locations.
