Cut of a Lifetime: Senior at Chinook Village lands a 29 hand in cribbage in friendly game

Winn Hausauer counted a 29 in a crib hand on Monday with a little help from her friends.

“It was the first time I’ve ever gotten a 29, and didn’t even realize it until the others helped count the hand,” she said after the four-handed cribbage game at Chinook Village.

Hausauer was dealt a trio of fives and the jack of spades in her hand, then hit the highest possible hand when the five of spades was turned up in the cut.

Witnessing the feat were partner Gerry Rosebery and opponents Michele Bryson and Joe Mastel.
