Cypress County working on next capital budget plans

Capital budget proposals in Cypress County are being completed this week and will go before council next month before final drafts are passed before the end of the year.

County councillors will meet today for regular business, but an update on the budget process for 2025 outlines that a final draft of the capital budget will be up for discussion on Oct. 16, then be presented for approval on Nov. 4.

Operating assumptions and budget drafts will be developed between now and then, then arrive at council Nov. 19 ahead of final debate on Dec. 3.
