The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is hosting a large-scale car show and swap throughout the day beginning at noon. The night will be capped off with two live musical performances by Morgan Klaiber and Canadian Clearwater Revival starting at 7 p.m. Automobile enthusiast will display, admire and discuss various types of cars including vintage, sport and classic cars. Tickets to the concert cost $23 and will be available for purchase at the grandstand entrance, online at tickets.mhstampede.com, or by phone at 403-527-1234. Downtown the city is also celebrating car culture during its free weekly block party held at Towne Square. High-end performance cars will be on display during the free event, which runs noon to 4 p.m. There will also be children’s activities as well as local vendors and food trucks. Parking remains free on the third level of the Transit Parkade until September. 10
