MHIP to host nature jeopardy night

By MEDICINE HAT NEWS on August 1, 2024.

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is challenging residents to put their nature knowledge to the test with a game-show themed event.

Nature Jeopardy will be hosted at Police Point Park on Aug. 13 with one time slot from 7-8 p.m. and one from 8-9 p.m. Teams will be able to earn points by responding with the question that fits the answer in a variety of nature-related categories.

“Everyone is bound to learn something new about the natural world in which we live,” said Genevieve Mathieu, park interpreter. “The cost to play is only $10 per team, so gather 3-5 nature lovers and call the Nature Centre to register your team for a time slot today.”

The event is open to children 13 years of age or older, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
