Mobile breast cancer screening to come to Oyen’s Big Country Hospital

asmith@medicinehatnews.com Alberta Health Services’ mobile mammogram service will be in Oyen later this month. The trailer will be at the Big Country Hospital from July 22-25, and services will be available for women aged 45 to 74 seeking a mammogram, or an x-ray of the breast in order to find any potential breast cancer early, when treatment may work better. Screening is available at no cost for eligible individuals, however, appointments are required. Those interested are encouraged to call 1-800-667-0604 to book an appointment or learn more about the program.
