Members of the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) are rallying today in Brooks, and will do so on Wednesday here in Medicine Hat.

They will be present at the Brooks Alberta Support Centre and Brooks Children & Family Services today, and in front of Brooks Alberta Support Centre & Brooks Children & Family Services on Wednesday.

The rallies are in support of bargaining, following over 50 town halls held by the union on the matter throughout the month of June.

“AUPE members are ready to fight for respect at work, for fair collective agreements and for the Albertans who rely on the critical public services we provide,” says Curtis Jackson, AUPE vice-president for the South region of the province.
