Several summer day camps with spots still available

With school out and Medicine Hat’s reputation for many as a “last-minute” city when it comes to registering or planning events, there can be a panic to find a suitable summer camp.

The Medicine Hat College, at the time of inquiry, still has space in the Youth Farm Experience at Irvine School Agricultural Discovery Centre, which has space from July 8-12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Aug. 12-16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The following daycare camp programs have available space:

– Week Three: WESTERN WEEK, running July 15-19, 8: a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

– Week Six: SENSORY & MOVEMENT, running Aug. 6-9, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There is also still space in the following Rattlers athletics camps:

– Junior Soccer Camp for ages 7-10, Aug. 19-22, 9 a.m. to noon;

– Senior Soccer Camp for ages 11-14, Aug. 19-22, 9 a.m. to noon;

– Female Hockey Camp for all ages, Aug. 19-23, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Co-op Place;

– Rattlers Girls Hockey Camp- U13/15, Aug. 19-23, 2:45-4 p.m. at Co-op Place;

– Rattlers Girls Hockey Camp- U9/11, Aug. 19-23, 1:15-2:30 p.m. at Co-op Place;

– Volleyball for Grades 4-6 Session A, Aug. 24-25, 9 a.m. to noon;

– Volleyball for Grades 4-6 Session B, Aug. 24-25, 1-4 p.m.;

– High School Volleyball Camp Session A for Grades 10-12, Aug. 12-16, 4-6 p.m.;

– High School Volleyball Camp Session B for Grades 10-12, Aug. 26-28, 1-4 p.m.;

– Junior Basketball & Team Building Camp for ages 7-12, Aug. 19-23, 1-4 p.m.;

Those interested in registering their child in any of these camps are encouraged to call the college as soon as they can to secure a spot.
