Kites to fill sky in Swift Current at annual festival

@MedicineHatNews Windscape Kite Festival is excited to offer a weekend at Western Canada’s largest kite festival in Swift Current. Organizers are pleased to host award-winning kite artists and performers from around the globe, with a lineup featuring talents from Canada, the U.S., Italy, Columbia and local fliers as well. The festival, in addition to acrobatic flight displays and artistic kites, will also offer kite-building workshops, Stunt Kite Flying lessons, the Circus Tent, a night flying display, the mystery sandpile, button making, face painting and more. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and is free to attend with an assortment of both free and paid activities. 6-5
