Interpretive program to offer exploration of tiny biomes with nature walk

@MedicineHatNews The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program will be hosting an exploration of the smaller side of nature, for those aged 11 and older. The Microscopic Menagerie event will be hosted in Police Point Park from 2-3 p.m. on June 29. Over the course of this nature walk, participants will learn about “what life is like when you’re small,” a release states. Information will focus on fungi, lichens, unusual insects, creatures in soil and nonvascular plants like mosses and liverworts. Registration is by donation, and those interested are encouraged to call the Nature Centre at 403-529-6225. Magnifying glasses will not be provided, but are allowed on the walk if brought. 6-5
