Redcliff Days kick off today

Redcliff Days get underway today and conclude with a slew of events on Father’s Day Sunday.

Sidewalk sales during business hours, a community-wide evening garage sale will take place Friday, alongside an afternoon bike rodeo at the Rectangle, and beer gardens and live music in the evening in the town.

A pancake breakfast at the Redcliff Legion runs 7-10 a.m. on Saturday, before a pie-throwing contest in the mid afternoon. The day also features events, sales, free public swimming, a library book sale, as well as a show and shine at Lions Park and a family fun zone at Memorial Park.

A movie in Lions Park will conclude with fireworks at about 10 p.m.

Sunday’s Father Day street hockey will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Arena, a skateboard school at the skate park and a group mountain bike ride will embark at 3 p.m. on the multi-use trail.
