Council meets for first time since mayor sanctions
Monday night‘s city council committee of the whole meeting will be the first held after council voted to restrict the power of Mayor Linnsie Clark to chair meetings.
The meeting, held under different rules that allow council members more leniency asking questions, will focus mainly on the expected “environmental roadmap” report that was presented in draft form earlier this year, according to the agenda.
But, most of those discussions will be held in closed session. The final draft and potential amendments will need to move to open meeting of council for approval.
A short open portion will outline development incentives promised by economic development Medicine Hat.
