The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is hosting a new installation during their Pop-Up Pollinators series on March 22, offering a chance for visitors to do their part for their local ecosystem.

This event will offer two creative activities, with the opportunity to make a new home for emerging young queens for $20 or a seed bomb for $5 to allow visitors an opportunity to learn how to create a more beautiful and bee-friendly Medicine Hat with this fun method of seed dispersal.

The seeds used for the bombs are all of native varieties that were locally and responsibly wild harvested.

Pre-registration with the interpretive centre is required for the bee boxes, as supplies are limited. Those interested are encouraged to call (403)529-6225, or visit natureline.info.
