Senior reported missing was found safe and sound

@MedicineHatNews A senior who was reported as potentially missing during cold temperatures on Tuesday evening was located and is safe, according to Medicine Hat police on Wednesday. Police asked the public for assistance in locating the 91-year-old female who was last seen travelling on foot in the early evening Tuesday near a shopping centre on 13th Avenue SE. There was concern she may have become disoriented as temperatures dipped overnight. At 9 a.m. Wednesday the service reported that the woman was safe and thanked the public and members of South Eastern Alberta Search and Rescue for their help. 5-4
