Cypress Credit Union has told its customers through social media that its branch in Burstall is closed until further notice due to severe damage to the building sustained on the weekend after it was rammed by a front-end loader that police believe was stolen from a yard nearby.
According to the credit union: “The building has sustained extensive damage from theft of the ATM machine. We have deployed several resources to get the building fixed and are assessing the damage.”
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of these persons should contact their local RCMP detachment or the RCMP detachment in Leader SK or Crimestoppers.
