Medicine Hat Public Library hosting meet and greet with several local authors

Eight authors with connections to the local community will be at the Medicine Hat Public Library on Saturday for a meet and greet to discuss published works along with their individual writing journeys.

Four authors of children’s books will give presentations in the morning, from 10 a.m. to noon, and authors of books for adults will be speaking in the afternoon, 2-4 p.m. Following each session there will be a mini book fair and a chance for attendees to speak with the authors one on one.

The sessions are aimed at those who want to support local, are looking for their next favourite author, or are on their own writing journey. The four children’s book authors presenting in the morning are Ana Caro, Angélique Doyle, Olivia M. Geib and Mitchell Hyde. Adult book authors in the afternoon are Jacob Lee Bachinger, Judith N. Brooke, Brandon Hodel and Frank Krulicki.
