Midnight Madness wine and cheese ‘sip-and-shop’ event will support mental health

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Hatters are invited to browse and partake at an intimate wine and cheese sip-and-shop event at Midnight Madness on Friday, as well as support a silent auction held to benefit the Canadian Mental Health Association. “We’re encouraging everyone to come, sip, shop and bid,” said organizer Joely Augustino, whose company Fig and Olive Charcuterie and Grazing is arranging local vendors for the pop-up event to align with the “Midnight Madness” pre-Christmas event in the core. For the past two years, Augustino has chosen a local community group to highlight at the event. All auction proceeds will go to the local office of the CMHA. Items are donated by market vendors, including Fig and Olive, Medicine Hat Meat Traders, Cake Pops and Spirit Hills Winery. The event will take place at 627 Second St. SE in the former Redcliff Bakery location. 6-5
