Crews begin today installing festive light decor

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Crews will begin installing festive lighting decorations on lamp poles along major routes in the city today. Each fall about 350 light displays go up ahead of the Holiday Season. Work will begin in the downtown core on Tuesday then move to First Street, and then Maple Avenue Bridge in the coming days. Depending on weather, work will then proceed along Eighth Street in Crescent Heights, and Division Avenue to 20th Street N., followed by Kingsway Avenue turning into S. Railway Street, Trans-Canada Way, Carry Drive, Dunmore Road and 13th Avenue corridor. Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution when crews are present. 6-5
