MHIP hosting late-night walk under the light of a blue supermoon

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is calling on local astronomers and night owls to witness the rare spectacle of a blue supermoon on Aug. 30. The Once in a Blue Supermoon will feature a late-night guided walk under the light of the blue supermoon, taking in the sights and learning all about what gives a blue moon its namesake and what makes a supermoon so super. The group will meet at the corner of Fifth Street and 11th Street NE to begin the walk at 10:30 p.m. The walk will last until 11:30 p.m. More information on this event can be found at natureline.info or by calling the Nature Centre at 403-529-6225. 5-4
