Mounties in Swift Current are looking for a Medicine Hat man who they have charged with stealing a truck in that city this week during a rash of truck thefts in Southwest Saskatchewan.

RCMP say that Nicholas Langille, 29, of Medicine Hat is at large and they have charged him after a grey 2005 F350 Ford pick-up was taken from a business on Chaplin Street in Swift Current on July 23.

Two days later, a 2010 F350 pickup was taken from the firehall in Tompkins and later abandoned in a ditch near the town, and on July 26, a black Ford F250 was taken from a rural location.

Still outstanding are a 2005 grey Ford F350 (Sask. plate 730-LII) and a black 2000 F250 (Sask. plate 138-KNF).

Langille faces five charges relating to one incident, but police are still investigating.

It is believed Langille is travelling with a female, potentially in two vehicles in Saskatchewan or Alberta license plates.

Anyone with information should contact the Swift Current detachment (306-778-4870), their local police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
