https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews A new truck stop, restaurant, and convenience store may be coming to Suffield, according to recent decisions by the Cypress County municipal planning commission. That body approved late last month a proposal to build an Esso branded fuelling station and cardlock about three kilometres west of the hamlet, accessible from the Old Trans-Canada service road. It sits fronting on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway, east of the junction with Secondary Highway 886, which provides access to CFB Suffield and Ralston. The development application, submitted by Ramanjeet Sangha and Mandeep Sangha, requires them to conduct a traffic study for the access road and specifically denotes that Cypress County is not obliged to provide additional access to the site, now joined to a gravel road which could be widened. 6
