Redcliff RCMP responded to a break-and-enter early Wednesday morning but the suspect(s) were gone by the time officers arrived, and they are now asking for the public’s assistance.

Police were dispatched to a business on Third Street SE in Redcliff at 4:12 a.m., but found no one there at that time. However, a witness did provide information about the suspect vehicle, a 2007 red Ford F250 with Saskatchewan licence plate 735 KJA, which, later that morning, was reported stolen from a business on Broadway Avenue.

Surveillance footage from that business shows the vehicle stolen at 3:18 a.m. Later the same day, another pickup, a 2023 white Ford F550 with Alberta licence plate CMM 3913 and a flat-deck trailer with a white tank on it, was reported stolen from a commercial business in Dunmore some time before 1:30 a.m.

Both vehicles are as of yet not recovered, and police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the vehicles and those responsible for the theft and break and enters.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or those responsible is asked to call Redcliff RCMP at 403-548-2288.
