For the last several months, music festivals have been held across Alberta with some performers and musicians earning a qualifying spot at the 2023 Alberta Provincial Music Festival.
At the Medicine Hat Rotary Music Festival in March, adjudicators recommended top local performers to move on to provincials in the disciplines of Strings, Piano, Speech, Musical Theatre, Woodwinds, Music Composition, Classical Vocals and Contemporary Vocals. The following Hatters were awarded first, second or third place at the provincial level.
