Applications open for upcoming Police Officer Cadet Training Program

From now until June 1, Medicine Hat Police Service is accepting applications for the 20-week Police Officer Cadet Training Program, set to be held in the Hat in early 2024.

The Lethbridge College-accredited training program will prepare cadets to become police constables – a position MHPS is currently looking to hire for.

Applicants must be a minimum 18 years of age or older; a Canadian citizen or permanent residents with no criminal record and with a Class 5 drivers licence; and must have received their Grade 12 or high school-equivalent diploma.

In addition, applicants must be passionate about serving the community through positive engagement and collaboration.
