Organized crime investigators say they seized about 400 grams of cocaine, smaller amounts of other drugs and $38,000 in cash during raids on three homes in Medicine Hat last week. Officials with the ALERT crime unit also said Monday that two vehicles were seized and two local men face drug possession and trafficking charges. “All three homes were located in residential areas throughout the city and two were in close proximity to elementary schools,” said Staff Sgt. Ryan Thorburn, ALERT Medicine Hat. “I’m proud of the hard work our teams continue to do to remove these drugs from our communities.” The search warrants came after a five-month investigation, and allegedly produced 411 grams of cocaine, 132 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 30 grams of methamphetamine, 140 oxycodone pills, 411 grams of marijuana and 75 grams of buffing agent, used to mix drugs. Jeremy Siegers, 47, and Sean Baker, 51, are charged. 6
