Medicine Hat is about to get a bit more wild as the annual Wildlife Festival returns to Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede’s Pavilion building March 31 to April 2. An array of exotic animals will greet Hatters at the festival, including a sloth, boa constrictor, wallaroo, porcupine and more. Attendees can enjoy observing and learning about the animals through exhibits, as well as grab photos with the animals and partake in feeding sessions. The event runs from 1-6:30 p.m. March 31 for general admission and 7-9 p.m. for a special adults-only evening, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., April 1 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2. Tickets are available for discounted pre-purchase online at wildlifefestival.ca, or at full cost if purchased at the door. General admission is $16 if pre-purchased, $20 at the door. Adults-only night admission is $25 if pre-purchased, $30 at the door. Admission is free for children three years of age and under. 7
