Medicine Hat Police Service is asking for public assistance to identify two men involved in the theft of a credit card. The incident occurred Nov. 9 around 6 p.m. with the two males working together.
One male knocked on the car window to get the attention of a woman who was sitting in her vehicle at a gas station on the Trans-Canada Highway in Medicine Hat. He told her she had a problem with her car tire and when the woman got out to check, it is believed the second male accessed the vehicle from the passenger side and removed the woman’s wallet.
About 20 minutes later, the woman’s credit card was used at a local department store. If anyone has any information or can identify either of them men, please call MHPS at 403-529-8481.
