A release states that on Dec. 10 police received a report of a local armed robbery at 3:30 p.m. and later located a suspect vehicle in Eastend, about 30 kilometres west. The man was arrested after leaving a residence without incident, at which point police and a conservation officer state they found a rifle and “semi-automatic weapon.” Adam Kormendy, 38, is charged with one count of robbery using a firearm, pointing a firearm and possessing a firearm while prohibited. He is schedule to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on Thursday. 6
