RCMP searching for body of Brooks maintenance diver who did not resurface

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews RCMP in Brooks say a diver performing maintenance on a dam at Lake Newell did not surface on Wednesday and they are now attempting to locate the body. A release on Thursday morning states officers were called to the scene at about 4 p.m. on Oct. 19 after reports that the 55-year-old male worker had not returned to the surface. Emergency crews remained on the scene Thursday, and Occupational Health and Safety officers had been advised of the situation, the release read. 5-4
