A Taber doctor has been sanctioned by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Alberta’s Hearing Tribunal after admitting to unprofessional communication with a patient. General practitioner Dr. Petrus Krog must adhere to several tribunal orders, passed down Sept. 9. The orders include a three-month practice permit suspension with a 22-day credit for time previously served out of practice, a one-year minimum chaperone condition and mandatory payment for two-thirds cost the CPSA investigation and hearing – the final amount for which is yet-to-be determined. 3
