https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Waste collection bins for storm-damaged material will be left in place for another week alongside Highway 523 in Cypress County following last month’s damaging tornado in the area west of Medicine Hat. They will remain in place until Aug. 22, the county announced on Monday. Last week, Cypress County’s planning department announced it will waive permit fees related to repairs and reconstruction of housing or improvements. Similarly, those who suffered financial loss are asked to register with the county office in Dunmore, as an application will be forwarded for disaster assistance from the province. 6
