Online 50/50 raffle will support St. Joseph’s home and make lucky winner $5K richer

Hatters are invited to take part in an online 50/50 raffle, the proceeds of which will go to St. Joseph’s Home, a local supportive living facility and Medicine Hat’s Carmel Hospice palliative care centre. The raffle is being hosted by Covenant Foundation, which supports St. Joseph’s Home and Carmel Hospice, and has a grand prize of $5,000 cash and a couple’s golfing getaway at Elkwater. “By participating in the 50/50 cash raffle, you can directly impact patients, residents, their families and health care teams in your community,” Covenant Foundation CEO Tracey Sopkow, said in a Wednesday release. “Our thanks go to everyone who buys a ticket to support compassionate local care.” Tickets can be purchased at convenantfoundationraffle.ca between now and March 18. Tickets are one for $10, four for $20, 20 for $50 or 100 for $100. Winner will be announced March 23. 5-4
