Young cyclist taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle on 13th Avenue SE

Local Journalism Initiative Reporter kking@medicinehatnews.com On Wednesday, at approximately 3:12 p.m., Medicine Hat police responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and cyclist at a crosswalk on 13th Avenue SE. Police confirmed that the vehicle involved was a Chevrolet Traverse. The female driver was uninjured but the male cyclist, who is a youth, was taken to hospital. His condition remains unknown. 5-4
