Glow Ride Friday

kking@medicinehatnews.com This Friday, Bike Medicine Hat will be hosting a community Glow Ride through the downtown. Participants can decorate their bicycles and outfits with glow sticks, lights, or reflective materials. The ride will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Esplanade. Cyclists of all skill levels are welcome. Carter Gramlich, chair of the organization, told the News that the Glow Ride will provide a fun atmosphere that allows people to get out, meet other riders and get some experience riding on street. He hopes this event will “encourage people to look at cycling and active transportation as a way to get around.” Participants are asked to sign a waiver beforehand, which can be found on Bike Medicine Hat’s website. 5-4
