A Gleichen man is wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant after failing to follow conditions after he was released from prison last month.
The RCMP detachment in Gleichen, west of Brooks, is alerting the community they are looking for Justin Lee Nathan Cutter, 28, for being unlawfully-at-large by failing to abide by his parole conditions.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound man has brown eyes, black hair and a large tattoo spelling “Cutter” in script font on his throat.
He was serving time for armed robbery in Strathmore in 2017, at which time he and another man fled police and a can of bear spray was discharged during the arrest.
Anyone seeing Cutter should not approach him, but rather call local authorities, the Gleichen detachment at 403-734-3923 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Case closed on Coaldale bodies
RCMP in Coaldale say they have closed their case into the discovery of two bodies in a home last week with no further action expected.
Autopsies performed June 7 found the manner of death for a 63-year-old man was “non-criminal” and no cause could be determined for that of a 90-year-old woman.
Police say there are no suspects and no risk to the public.
The bodies were discovered “in a state of decomposition” on June 3 after Mounties attended a home in the town on a welfare check.
