MHRH outbreak ongoing, Cardston’s is over

A COVID-19 outbreak in the Cardston Health Centre is over. An outbreak was declared Jan. 12 after two people in that acute-care facility tested positive. Alberta Health Services reports on its website that an outbreak at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Jan. 14 is still in effect. An outbreak in an acute-care or a continuing-care facility, including group homes, is reported when there are two or more cases. 5-4
