Scholarship funding is available for students studying in fields where gender is traditionally under-represented. The Leaders in Equality Award of Distinction (LEAD) Program is now accepting applications. Total funding for the program is $225,000. Up to 90 student applicants in two categories will each receive $2,500. One scholarship program is open to women younger than 30 years of age and pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The other is for anyone pursuing studies to advance gender equality. The deadline for applications is Feb. 21.
