Police seek liquor store robbery suspect

Police are looking for a man who robbed a liquor store on Monday night while brandishing a weapon. The culprit entered the store, located on South Railway Street, at about 7:50 p.m. and demanded cash from a clerk. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and some merchandise. Medicine Hat Police Service’s major crimes unit reported Tuesday morning that they are asking public to come forward with information related to the crime. More information could be released as the investigation progresses.
