County culvert repairs will see two routes closed for short periods

Two well-travelled routes in Cypress County will see day-long closures for culvert repairs. Access to the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Butte Road will be closed Saturday to accommodate intersection upgrades. That affects northbound lanes at the Third Avenue in Dunmore, while southbound lane coming off the highway will remain open. Northbound traffic will be detoured along the Third Avenue access road to the highway further west. The work should take one day to complete. As well, the Thelma Road, connecting Eagle Butte Road to Highway 41A south of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, will be closed at Range Road 33 on Tuesday. 5-4
