If you need to go to Valleyview seniors’ residence or the Alberta Health Services building across the road, current roadworks will mean having to detour.
The intersection of Valleyview Road and First Street SW is currently undergoing significant road work and rehabilitation.
Valleyview Drive is completely blocked off from First Street all the way to Valleyview seniors’ residence.
Travelling west on First Street SW you will need to continue on and turn left onto Red Deer Drive. At Valleyview Avenue you would turn left again to access the top part of Valleyview Drive and the seniors’ residence.
Road construction is expected to continue to at least Aug. 22.
