The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is hosting another nature walk on Thursday evening that will focus on the importance of wetlands in the prairies. The Riparian Areas Rock walk is scheduled for 7 p.m., however due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Interpretive Program is asking interested parties to call and book one of the 12 available slots. “Ranging from expanses of cottonwood forest to fragile strips of willow and grasses, these intricately connected systems provide habitat for a multitude of species, including us,” reads an Interpretive Program release. Call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225 for more information about the walk. The meeting location will be provided to those who register to attend. 5
