Popular restaurant chain coming soon to Medicine Hat

About six months ago Mayor Ted Clugston revealed in his state of the city address that Medicine Hat would be getting a Denny’s restaurant.

Observant Hatters may have noticed a “Denny’s” sign has gone up in the area near Walmart where a new hotel is in the final stages of construction.

It appears as though Denny’s restaurant will be located in the new BWP Hotel.

The News requested an interview with those responsible for the project but there has been no response to that request.

It is unclear when Denny’s is expected to open. The Denny’s franchise website does not have any information on this.

Currently the closest Denny’s restaurant is in Brooks and there is also one in Lethbridge.
