The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede will be holding three drive-thru pancake breakfasts this summer.
All three events will take place on the Stampede Grounds at the Cypress Centre parking lot. All three are being held this week, running from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
People will enter through the south entrance, Gate 1, then exit though Gate 2 near the Kinplex.
The pancakes are free, with 1,000 plates served each day.
Pancakes will be served with sausage, syrup and juice, with individually packaged cutlery.
Signs will be posted to direct people where to drive. There will not be anywhere offered to sit and eat the food. People are also not allowed to park and walk around to eat. No washroom areas will be made available either.
People in cars will be the only people served. Bicycles, scooters, motorcycles or any other non-enclosed forms of transportation will not be served.
Volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves during the two hours, and will be washing hands frequently.
