A portion of the Kiwanis River Park Trail that goes under the Trans-Canada Highway, could be closed for up to a week.
The city’s parks and recreation department says a tree came down on the trail and a contractor will be responsible for clearing the tree away.
While a crew might commence work on Wednesday, it could take up to a week before the work is completed.
Please avoid the trail during this time and keep a safe distance from crews working in the area.
Kiwanis River Park Trail in Harlow runs parallel to the South Saskatchewan River between the berm protecting Harlow residents and the river. The trail then continues under the Trans-Canada Highway bridge towards the city’s power plant and ultimately Gas City Campground.
