Isaac Maltin hasn’t been able to cut hair for weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While he has been enjoying his free time, he has decided to use his skills to help others.
The Hat barber is now releasing informational videos on his Isaac’s Barber Shop Facebook page. The videos are aimed at helping men stay groomed during the pandemic.
“I feel sorry that I can’t cut hair right now,” he said. “I figured I’d show the people how to cut their hair at home in a fun, informative way.”
Maltin recently did a Facebook livestream on beard trimming and released a full video on cleaning up the sides of your hair.
He said he will be releasing more videos in the future and could release videos on women’s hair later, if the demand is there.
He is getting ready to release a video on cutting hair on the top.
“If people follow the step-by-step instructions, it will be easy,” he said. “Obviously, you can’t expect the Isaac’s quality at home, but this will be a fun challenge.”
Maltin says walking around in public and seeing messy beards and long, ungroomed hair inspired him to help others.
He says to stay tuned on his page for more videos.
