The government did not host any live streams this weekend, but updated its informational site on Saturday and Sunday for Albertans. On top of the new cases in the Hat, the County of 40 Mile now has a second confirmed case. Cypress County still sits at one. Lethbridge sits at six cases of the virus, while Taber has two. According to the government site, 23 people have died as a result of the virus. This is an increase of five since Friday. According to the Alberta Health Services site, 279 people have recovered from the virus. The total case number sits at 1,250 confirmed, with 62 per cent in the Calgary zone. There have been 84 hospitalizations from the virus. Of these, 26 have been sent to the intensive care unit. The Calgary zone has 774 cases of the virus, while Edmonton has 309. The North zone has 77 cases and the Central zone has 67. The South zone has 20 cases. Three of the cases are in an unknown location. Men and women from 35-44 years old are the most impacted group. Of the cases, 48 per cent are men and 52 per cent are women. The South zone has seen five per cent of the testing done within it. The total tests for the zone is 3,143. Calgary has had more than 26,000 tests done, while Edmonton has had around 21,500. 15
