A Medicine Hat College instructor who was charged with assault last year has entered into a peace bond. Richard Gregory signed the six-month peace bond on Dec. 17, which requires him to keep the peace and be on good behaviour, but is not an admission of guilt. Gregory, who was MHC’s department chair of health and human services, was arrested Oct. 24 for an offence that allegedly occurred April 25, 2018. At the time of his arrest, MHC administration said he was “not currently on campus.” His role at the college included co-ordinating the social work, addictions counselling, child and youth care, paramedic and therapist assistant programs. A representative of the college told the News that Gregory is still “not on campus.” This story has been updated to include comment from MHC 8
