Enactus Medicine Hat College has received $11,500 in donations from local and national sources, which will help develop new initiatives and strengthen existing ones. A $5,000 contribution from RBC Foundation and Community Foundations Canada will go toward a new project researching declining bee populations, dubbed “Project To-Bee-Continued.” Another new endeavour, the Square Roots Token Program, which aims to reduce waste and enhanced food security in the community, has received $500 from the Sunrise Rotary Club. The existing Young Entrepreneur Program, which promotes entrepreneurship among elementary, middle and high school students, has received a $3,000 boost from RBC Future Launch for Young Entrepreneurship. And a $3,000 grant from the REDI Endowment Fund will allow Project Generation to build more bat houses to prevent white noise syndrome in brown bat populations. 6
